As part of the launch of their upcoming product, Prem Tech Lab gave me the opportunity to create their entire brand identity from scratch, including the logo, naming, and graphic charter.
The main objective of this project was to visually reflect the values and industry of Prem Tech Lab’s upcoming product.
Linkeepet represents the fusion of three words: “Link” for connection, “keep” for maintaining/preserving, and “pet” for domestic animal. The idea behind this brand name is to emphasize the strengthening or continuous maintenance of the relationship between the pet and its owner.
The word “Link,” often associated with communication and connectivity, gives the brand name a technological connotation (referring to connected devices).
As for the logo design, it results from the combination of five symbols related to the technology and pet sectors. First, the “paw” icon represents the pet’s footprint and symbolizes movement. Next, the merged icons of “location,” “power button,” and “data/share” bring a technological/digital aspect to the emblem.
With a reduced size and discreet position (below the paw), this reflects the idea of introducing connected devices into the pet’s life without significantly or negatively impacting its daily routine. Finally, combining a “heart” icon with the paw reinforces the family aspect and the important place the owner gives to their pet within the household.
